SHIPPING POLICY

ORDER ARRIVAL TIME

 

Depending on the quantity you are purchasing, our stock is shipped either directly from the farm or from our U.S. office to your address. In either case, you should expect 8 to 15 working days depending on your location. If you need your order urgently, please do let us know via email or call us to discuss other express shipping options.

 

PROCESSING TIME

 

All orders placed before 12 pm PST on a regular business day will be shipped the same business day. We will keep you updated on the status of your order by e-mail.

DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL SALES

 

At this time we only ship domestically within the United States and Internationally to Canada. We try to keep shipping costs as low a possible, but shipping costs of course , vary by destination. You can view the total shipping cost of your order on the checkout page.

*Zafferan & Co. is not responsible for any shipping problems and shall not be held liable for any "reasonable" delay beyond our advertised delivery time-frames. Shipping time-frames are estimates and are calculated based on the time the order has been received and processed. Due to high demand, order processing can take 3 to 5 business days.

 

**The on-time delivery guarantee does not apply to shipments that are delayed due to causes beyond our control, including, but not limited to, the following: the unavailability or refusal of a customer to accept delivery of the shipment, delays caused by the consignee, acts or omissions of Customs or similar authorities, riots, circumstances arising before, during, or after a strike or other labor disputes, civil commotions, disruptions in the air or ground transportation network (such as weather phenomena), and natural disasters.

DUTIES & TAXES

 

Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost.  These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order.  You may check with your country’s customs office to determine if there will be additional costs.

 

REGULATIONS & RESTRICTIONS

 

The buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions that may apply when purchasing our products.  By placing an international order (shipping outside of the United States of America) the buyer is responsible for abiding by their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions. If product is seized and destroyed by customs, we will NOT be responsible for the losses, product, or shipping refunds.

REFUND POLICY

 RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Our return policy covers purchased products 30 days from the original date of delivery. Products are not eligible for refund or exchange after 30 days of delivery date and will not be accepted.

​

To be eligible for a full refund, your item must be in the original packaging.

 

You must not have used more than 1% of the product.

​

For example, if you purchased 10 Grams of Saffron and you have used 100 Milligrams and you are not happy with your product, you are more than welcome to apply for a refund.

​

If you have used any more than 1% of the product, we will not be able to give you a full refund and a partial refund will be applicable depending on how much of the product you have used.

 

If you need to return or exchange your product, please email us and we will send you a return number. To ensure that your return is processed quickly and correctly, please do not send the product back without first receiving a confirmation and a return number.

 

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. This will guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
